About

Born and raised in Brooklyn, Leandra was raised by a Jamaican mother and American father in the Caribbean infused neighborhood of Flatbush. Growing up Leandra always had a passion for the sciences and healthcare which led her to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. Joseph’s College. Intrigued by the vast learning opportunities in healthcare she pursed and received her Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Hofstra University.

Leandra currently works as a Project Manager for the Nursing Department at a top New York hospital. There she collaborates and supervises diverse teams in projects aimed to improve operational efficiency and quality outcomes from start to finish.

Outside of her role in the hospital Leandra has developed a love for reading and creative expression through writing and storytelling. She has a passion to understand and learn about black culture and ultimately how it has shaped us as individuals today.

When Leandra is not working you can find her hanging out with friends and family, divulging in a good book or satisfying her traveling itch exploring a new city or culture. She also enjoys creating traveling itineraries and curating trips that speak to individual’s interest. Her goal is to connect with people through vulnerable sharing and ultimately help people to unlock the keys to living their lives as freelee as they desire.
